I mean she may only be 7 months old but so far she hasn’t sent anyone anon hate so I think we’re doing better job than your parents did, just saying.

ask something
giftshopgrrrl asks: Laci Green made a long Tumblr post calling out Sam Pepper's new video and ended it with a whole bunch of other Youtubers who don't support what he did!! Not sure if you saw it, but a lot of big Youtubers are outraged about it.

Yup, I saw it & reblogged it. I think Laci even updated the post with my name. I’m really glad people are supporting and talking about this but again, it’s disappointing how many of those same people are silent about (and collab with) other YouTubers who create racist content. I’m glad that our community feels comfortable calling out homophobia and misogyny, but it’d be nice if POC on YouTube could get that same kind of support.

She was one of my idols growing up

Best scene in the Kill Bill movies, not gonna lie. I can temporarily ignore the rest of the Orientalist mess just for this right here.

Best lady

Forever mad she didn’t slaughter Kiddo and change the path of the movie.

Can you imagine how much of a twist/how much fucking better that movie would have been?

What I loved about the Kill Bill movies was that Tarantino had so many opportunities to subvert so many tropes and just completely ignored them in favor of his Orientalism/Spaghetti Western fetish and his weird obsession with Uma Thurman.

If Oren had killed Kiddo, then what? They didn’t really give the other Deadly Vipers (with the exception of Elle Driver) enough personality, depth, and motivation to continue in a revenge-themed plot (and by this time Oren had literally everything she wanted). Elle could have killed Kiddo EASILY, as could Budd, but they didn’t.

Vernita was the one I was mad about, because she could have killed Kiddo too and changed the entire course of the film.

Like maybe Vernita or Oren should have been the protagonists.

But as it stands, there’s the loose end of Vernita’s daughter Nikki, who Tarantino said will be the star of the next Kill Bill film which as far as I know has been shelved.

I hope Nikki carves that ass up.

"When I was 10, I got caught shoplifting. I got caught, I got taken to the back room and the man said "have you done this before?" and I said no. He was like "I can tell, you’re not good at it". I lied and told him I was 9 years old instead of 10 because I thought I’d get a heftier sentence. I thought I was gonna go to, like, maximum prison. But I got away with it."    - Charles Michael Davis shares secrets on The Talk [September 2014]
